Challenge: How to equip a large nominal diameter with a small drive – how does that work?
We came up with something clever and rethought the shut-off valve!
Traditional shut-off and relief valves are often designed as needle valves. The larger the nominal diameter and the higher the operating pressure, the more force is needed to close them. To automate these valves, the handle can be replaced with a pneumatic drive. However, to generate enough force, the drive must be of a certain size, which means more space and weight.
We don't want to settle for that.
