MAXIMATOR relies on in-house young talent

Attractive traineeships with Maximator. Company provides high quality for future staff. Motivated young people sought to start training next year.

MAXIMATOR wins award
Only a few days ago, Maximator GmbH with its two sites in Zorge (Lower Saxony) and Nordhausen (Thuringia) was awarded the title ‘Outstanding Apprenticing Company’ by IHK Nordhausen [Chamber of Industry and Commerce]. New trainees are also sought for training start in.

Currently MAXIMATOR is training 19 young men and women. Notably vocational training year 1 (start in August 2007) has a high attendance of seven trainees. The range of trained jobs reaches from mechatronics via industrial mechanics to lathe operators and also includes technical sales representatives and drafters.

Living up to market demands
By offering attractive traineeships and providing career opportunities to young people during their working lives, MAXIMATOR makes sure to find adequate responses to technical and technological requirements as well as demographic development.

Applicants in trade and technical or commercial fields should have at least average grades in basic subjects, such as German, mathematics, English and physics. Further assets in the company’s view are that the youngsters have a positive working attitude and corresponding social behaviour as well as capacity for teamwork.
 
All-out promotion of up-and-coming generation
Metalworking trainees are offered a base course in the training workshop in Walkenried at the beginning of their training. Theoretical education is provided at Vocational Schools in Osterode am Harz (mechatronics and technical sales representatives) and Nordhausen (lathe operators and industrial mechanics).

MAXIMATOR’s training quota of seven to eight per cent is very high in the industry. However, after successful completion the young stand good chances for permanent employment. Challenging jobs are awaiting them at MAXIMATOR’s two German but also overseas sites. Financial support is granted for master craftsman qualification and integrated campus and distance education.
