Regulation EC 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH)

As a manufacturer of high pressure technology, hydraulics, pneumatics and testing equipment, Maximator GmbH is a so-called "downstream user" within the meaning of REACH. In our capacity as a manufacturer of machines and systems, we only produce non-chemical products (products in compliance with Article 3 Definitions).

Under normal, reasonable and foreseeable application conditions, our products do not emit any substances. Therefore, Maximator GmbH is not subject to registration duties nor the duty to draw up safety data sheets.

Maximator GmbH fully satisfies all its duties as a "downstream user". According to REACH Article 33, it is therefore our duty to provide information on substances of very high concern that may be present in products. This applies to products containing more than 0.1% by mass concentration of substances of concern. These substances are registered by the European Chemicals Agency and published in a list of candidates (Candidate List of substances of very high concern for Authorisation).

Since the 27.06.2018 the lead substance (CAS number: 7439-92-1, EC number: 231-100-4) has been added to the SVHC list. In the overview provided below for download, we have listed all materials in which a lead content greater than 0.1% by mass can be included.

To ensure a high level of process security, we work intensively on implementing REACH among our suppliers. To date MAXIMATOR is unaware of any further impact of the REACH Directive on our products or production procedures.
