27th Heart of Europe Bio-Crystallography (HEC) Meeting

The HEC Meeting is an annual academic Structural Biology conference, for which researchers at universities, other research institutions and industry from Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany and Poland meet to present and discuss current aspects of their research.

While a focus is on structure analysis via Macromolecular Crystallography and other diffraction techniques, other structural biological techniques, such as nuclear magnetic resonance and cryogenic electron microscopy approaches, are also represented. Preparative and analytical Biochemistry and Biophysics are additional relevant topics.

The 27th HEC Meeting will be organized by the Structural Biochemistry group at Freie Universität Berlin and will take place September 25-27, 2025, at the K6 Seminar Hotel in Halberstadt, Germany.
